• Greek startup Perceptual Robotics announced the first close of a funding round led by Brookstreet Equity Partners.
• Perceptual Robotics uses drones, ML and AI to perform in-depth autonomous inspections of turbines four times faster than traditional solutions.
• The Greek company is already backed by international investors such as TSP Ventures, Future Fund, Humble Holdings and Metavallon VC.
London-based Brookstreet will support Perceptual Robotics in the first quarter of 2023 to expand its products and explore new markets, including the United States.

According to Karachalios, the Greek company is now looking forward to using the latest support in its new phase of growth, fueled by being the first self-service provider of wind turbine inspection technology.
The company’s solution is called Dhalion and it collects high-quality data, while quickly analyzing it with AI data processing. The solution also increases safety during inspections, increases profitability and significantly reduces turbine downtime for wind farm operators.
The company’s head office is in Bristol, UK, and its European base is in Athens. Last year, the company also opened operations in Spain and France.
Mixing AI and autonomous technologies for the benefit of the circular economy
The Greek company spun off from Bristol Robotics Laboratory in 2016 and has since expanded its core business, as well as carrying out autonomous inspections for some of Europe’s largest wind turbine operators.
According to Brookstreet CEO Omiros D. Sarika, the support for Perceptual Robotics will be aimed at accelerating the company’s growth.
